Stephen Northey

Stephen thrives on the day-to-day challenges of his busy real estate career. He studies the market daily to track properties new to the market, arranging showings only of homes that promise to be a good fit for his buyers.  He enjoys creating  marketing plans for his sellers and making use of the latest technologies, including custom podcasts of his listings.  Steve makes it a point to be available to his clients, offering assistance through every step of the buying or selling process.

Steve finds that his former career as a bond trader plus owning and managing his own two-flat have provided skills beneficial to his real estate career.  He is known as a skilled negotiator and tireless advocate for his clients.  He also enjoys the personal contact and relationships that he is able to build as a real estate professional.  

Born and raised in Oak Park, IL, Steve is equally familiar with the Oak Park / River Forest area and city neighborhoods, including Edgewater where he now lives with his wife and young daughter.  He serves as Vice President of EPIC Blockclub in Edgewater and also is an active supporter of the Edgewater Community Council.  Free time for this busy real estate professional centers on family activities, golf, skiing and biking along the lakefront.
